Cllr Paul Browne

Cllr Paul Browne has represented the Oakham South ward since August 2021. He is also the executive portfolio holder for Planning and Property.
Born and brought up in Nottinghamshire, Paul began as an assistant solicitor, where he later became a partner in a practice in Mansfield.
He moved to Rutland in 1995, living at Home Farm, Brooke. It is here, where he set up his own legal practice in 1997 in Oakham specialising in Property, Land and Agricultural Law. Paul continued to practice law until his retirement in 2018.
He will have been married for 50 years in 2023, and has three sons, and is a grandfather to two lively grand-daughters.
As a local resident, he understands the strain that new developments are having on our local infrastructure, including our health services and schools. Paul will continue working hard to demand urgent improvements.
