Stamford Liberal Democrat's were keen to introduce Dr James Moore, a lecturer in modern history at the University of Leicester, and their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the forthcoming election. So LibDem volunteers set up their stall in Stamford High Street on Saturday, June 1st and  soon James was busy shaking hands with local voters.

Topics of concern were raised by those who stopped to talk. The state of the NHS is a hot topic, as is the environment and particularly, the pollution of our lakes, rivers and waterways through dumping of sewage. People are also concerned about government requirements for new homes which are built without the infrastructure necessary to support them.

These and many other topics are of the utmost concern to LibDems and James and his merry band of volunteers are always happy to discuss them.
